You enjoy being part of a small team and are a clear, thoughtful communicator. You have a sharp eye for detail and an interest in manufacturing, vendor relations, and studio management. You are reliable, honest, warm, professional and open to feedback

Details

Location: Gowanus, Brooklyn, and NYC Diamond District

Hours: 2 days a week to start, ~10-12 hours with potential to grow

Start Date: Flexible

Compensation: $22-$25/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

● Production Support and Coordination - Tracking and ordering materials, prepping materials for production, preparing production sheets for partners, coordinating new orders and repairs

● Quality Control - Inspecting incoming materials and completed pieces for accuracy (metal color, stone quality, setting integrity, etc.) before they move forward in the production process

● Order Management - Digital order tracking and status updates

● Weekly diamond district runs to drop off and pick up materials with production partners

● Fulfillment - order packing and shipping

● Studio Upkeep - Keeping the studio clean, organized, and functional

Requirements

● Must be located in NYC

● A genuine interest in jewelry and small business operations, with a naturally sharp eye for visual detail

● Comfortable learning the fundamentals of jewelry production - no formal experience required, though any exposure to jewelry production and luxury retail/wholesale is a plus!
